On Sat. Nov. 8th we participated in the MS Walk in PHX in honor of Josh's co-worker's wife. They had a large group of friends and family participating. Here's a pic. of us in our team t-shirt right before we started the 5 mile walk.
It was amazing how many people were involved. We were in about the middle of the pack. There were people as far as you could see in front of us and behind us. Never having been in something like this I didn't really know what to expect but it was really great. Even though we had packed our own water and snacks, every so often they passed out water, bannanas, oranges, granola bars, etc... I def. want to do something like this again soon.
Several groups wore really neat costumes although they were prob. pretty hot. The Star Wars group was our favorite. We also saw some Ghostbusters and a large group as the King & Queen and their court.
